For this reason, I'm hesitant to have Precision X installed at the same time as Mystic Light. From what I read this can corrupt the firmware on the sticks and straight up break them, or at least the RGB portion of them.
I have had issues before with my TridentZ LEDs completely stopping to work when I was running 2 different RGB software controls at once. Zilla0100 I understand I need to use Precision X to control the lights on my 1080Ti FTW 3, but at the same time I have TridentZ RGB ram, an RGB MSI motherboard (Z370 Gaming M5) and a couple strips plugged into the 12v RGB header on my mobo. If there isn't another solution, maybe I will leave my card color white, while the whole system is changing color. But it was not what I was looking for unfortunately. I'm not a programmer, but I don't think would be hard to make your software only mimics another one. So I really would like to use rainbow collor scheme with other manufacturers hardware. My GTX 1080 is the most beatiful card I ever had, and I think it is the most beatiful between all 1080s as well, and I'm also totally satisfied with its performance. So they could have come with another solution for it. I know it can be partially my fault not looking into it before buying the 1080, but it doesn't change the fact that they don't have much support for other products out of the US.
When talking about mobos, their market share out of US is tiny.īut the most crucial thing is: I wanna build an AMD setup in my next rig, and EVGA doesn't support it. They for sure list their mobos in their local site here in my country, but you cannot find anyone selling it. The other problem is technical support, which becomes a big headache if we have to use the warranty. Which makes the deal a lot more expensive taking in account taxes and shipping. So the only way is to have their mobo is importing. My EVGA Z370 Classified k has 2 x RGB headersīlaise, in many countries EVGA doesn't sell mobo or has client support for it (which is my case), only officially selling GPUs and power supplies. OBS: EVGA making their videocards sync only with their own products is nonsense. It's kind of a pain but it's the best workaround I have without taking that risk of hurting my ram. Does anyone have any experience controlling the LEDs from different brand ecosystems in the same system? Is there a program that can control all of it in one place? Right now, I've been installing Precision X, changing the LED color to what I want, uninstalling Precision X, rebooting, installing Mystic Light, then changing the rest of my LEDs. I had to go to great lengths to get my ram working properly again last time I tried two different programs. I'm thinking they might not conflict since they don't recognize each others hardware, but I'm honestly kinda scared to try. However, Mystic Light does not recognize the FTW3, and Precision X does not recognize the ram or motherboard.
